Contest Rules

  1. Moody Radio, an affiliate of Moody Bible Institute, may change the dates and/or terms of a Contest without prior notice.
  2. Contestants must be at least 18 years old to win unless otherwise specified
  3. All taxes are the responsibility of the prize winner. Winners may be required to complete a W-9 for tax purposes. From the date awarded, all forms must be completed, returned and postmarked within 5 days to Moody Radio. If the proper forms are not completed and returned, prizes will be considered forfeited and will not be awarded.
  4. Prizes may not be substituted or transferred.
  5. Moody Radio reserves the right to substitute alternate prizes of comparable value.
  6. Prizes are offered as is with no written or express warranty.
  7. All prizes will be mailed unless otherwise specified.
  8. Moody Radio is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. (A major prize is defined as any prize valued at $250.00 or more)
  9. To participate, contestants should call (423) 629-8900 and  or (800) 621-9629, unless otherwise specified.
  10. Members of the Moody Radio database can be automatically entered for any contest aired on Moody Radio or advertised on the station's website or interactive phone line at the station's discretion.
  11. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. All decisions of Moody Radio are final.
  12. The Station and sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other transmission failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; or incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by the Station, users, any equipment or programming utilized in promotions, games or contests, or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a participant's ability to participate.
  13. Employees of Moody Radio, an affiliate of Moody Bible Institute and its properties, sponsors, vendors and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
  14. Winners may be required to sign a release form agreeing to release and hold harmless Moody Radio, Moody Bible Institute, its officers, directors, employees, sponsors, partners, agents, assigns and affiliated companies from attorney's fee, as a result of participation in the contest and/or use of the prize.
  15. Calling Moody Radio or entering any contest on the station's website (http://www.moodyradio/chattanooga) constitutes prior permission to use your name, character, photograph, voice, and likeness in connection with the promotion of any and all contests on Moody Radio and waives any claim of royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
  16. Moody Radio is not responsible for replacing tickets as a result of a show cancellation, weather conditions, promoter, performer, travel arrangements or events beyond the control of the station.
  17. The Station is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, misdirected, mutilated or incomplete entry forms.
  18. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the Contest will be disqualified.
  19. By registering or winning a prize, you are allowing Moody Radio and Moody Bible Institute permission to contact you by means of the street address, phone number or email address provided.

Moody Radio 2019 Valentine’s Giveaway 

If you plan to enter Moody Radio’s Valentine’s Giveaway 2018 contest, in addition to our general contest rules, please keep these specific rules in mind:

  1. Only entries submitted through the Moody Radio 2019 Valentine’s Giveaway contest online entry form will be accepted, which can be accessed through Moodyradio.org/Chattanooga.
  2. No purchase or donation is necessary to enter.  One entry per person or couple.
  3. Deadline for the receipt of a fully completed entry is February 13, 2019 at 9:00am EST.
  4. One winner will be drawn at random on February 13th after 9:00am EST from all eligible entries submitted prior to the deadline in accordance with these rules and will be announced on the morning show on February 14, 2019 in the 8:00am hour.
  5. The winner will receive a free dinner for two from Provino’s Italian Restaurant and an AMC gift certificate. “Couple” is defined as a married or dating male and female couple, in accordance with Moody Radio’s doctrinal position.  Each registration is valued at around $60.00.
  6. Prizes have no cash equivalent and are not transferable.
  7. Moody Radio reserves the right to reject or discard any incomplete or confusing entry as well as any invalid entry not completed or submitted in accordance with promotion rules, all in its sole discretion.
  8. Each winner agrees to permit Moody Radio to use their biographical information (in addition to the winner’s names, photographs or likenesses, and information from their entry nomination) for promotional and ministry purposes.
