“Jesus, Transform Me in 2024”
A New Year’s resolution won’t work. Try harder won’t work. Self-sufficiency definitely won’t work. Perry talks with Jesse Bradley about what will work. Jesse’s a former professional soccer player, the lead pastor of Grace Community Church in Auburn, WA, the host of The Bonfire Podcast and author of The Power of the Second Thought.
So how can we be transformed by Jesus this year? It’s not super complicated. (Whew)! It starts with reading God’s word, soaking in it. It’s through depending on the Holy Spirit. It’s by bringing out the best in each other. It’s in knowing your why. (Perry lost sight of his last year). It’s by becoming more dependent and less self-sufficient.
And as Jesus transforms our hearts this year it will flow out of us to a world that’s longing for God’s presence, but just doesn’t know it. (And it might look like something amazing that Jesse’s church is doing)! If you’re encouraged by Perry’s conversation with Jesse, please share.
