Becoming a Person of Great Faith
It takes a long time to become a person of great faith. God commanded Noah to build an ark to save the world. But it was hard.
So today Dan Thompson of Crossroads Bible and Perry zoom in on the life of Noah to see what it takes to hear God say, “Your faith in me is deep and wide and connects you with my plan to heal the world!”
So first we see that Noah took the step that begins it all: “God I’m a sinner and I need you.” Then, Noah needed God to micromanage him. Wait, what? Yep.
Next he needed to push forward when people thought he was crazy. Then we see how Noah’s obedience saved Moses centuries later.
Next we see that Noah had to get out of bed day after day after day especially when he didn’t want to! Then, deep faith is never giving up till we hear “Well done good and faithful servant!”
Next we see that Noah’s deep faith came from knowing God loved him. And last we see that when we grow into a deep faith we do so only because of God’s faithfulness.
