Who Do You Want To Be in a Year?
Happy New Year! Instead of making resolutions about what you want to do this year, you might want to consider who you want to be. Shawna was called out over break on her habit of “name dropping.”
Ouch! In an honest conversation with God she discovered that she does that so others will think she’s significant. That’s not who she wants to be! What about you, who do you want to be in a year?
Then, Jerome was on his death bed when he asked the priest, “What works do I need to do to know that I’m right with God?” The priest answered with a mic drop question and Jerome gave a mic drop answer.
Next, have you ever read the Bible and thought, “What did I just read?” Dropping into the middle of the Bible can be as confusing as catching 1 minute in the middle of a movie. It’s really hard to know what’s going on when we don’t have any context.
