It was astonishing. The person in the hospital room that Perry's dad thought was a nurse said, "I am the word of God." It was a vision given to comfort Dave LaHaie's fearful heart.
As we wait for Christ’s return, Christmas reminds us that God keeps His promises. He fulfilled every prophecy in sending the Messiah and He will fulfill His promise to come back and make everything right.
What's wrong with the world?? “It's the radical left; no, it's those extreme right-wingers!” God tells us the truth, "The problem is not out there, it's in you."
Shawna shares a quote from Timothy Keller’s Counterfeit gods that reveals how the whole Bible is the story of Jesus, especially the Old Testament. Also, Christmas is God’s way of saying and demonstrating, “I love you this much!”
"It's the most wonderful time of the year." But what if you're not feeling it? What if you're grieving deeply?
Last, on the heels of Christmas we’ll step into a brand new year. How can you and I be prepared for whatever 2024 will bring? Shawna and Perry have a few suggestions.

Perry LaHaie is a radio host, singer, and songwriter with a passion to see the Great Commission completed in our generation. He was born and raised in northern Michigan, earned a degree in communications, and later a graduate degree in cross-cultural communications. Music and ministry have taken him all over the world. He served at Family Life Radio before serving with Frontiers, a worldwide ministry to Muslims. Perry and his wife, Teresa, have two children, Kali and Taylor.

Shawna Beyer has been a business owner, homeschool mom, church planter, project lead for a management consulting company, and church staff member. Born and raised in Southern California, she has been married for 25 years and is the mom of four.
