Hearts Set Ablaze: Iran's Encounter with the Holy Spirit
Dr. Mike Ansari was born and raised Muslim in Iran. In 1979 when the Islamic regime seized power he barely escaped being forced to be a child solider at 11. That’s when his parents fled the tyranny of Iran and found refuge in America. And that’s when Mike’s mom had a dream of Jesus that changed his family forever!
What happened in Mike’s family mirrors the amazing move of God going on in Iran right now as tens of thousands of Muslims are turning to Jesus.
Now Mike serves as president of Heart4Iran a ministry that’s reaching Iran with Jesus’ love through social media, Mohabat satellite TV, underground church planting, and partners on the ground in Iran.
Not only do we hear Mike’s riveting family story, he also describes in breath-taking beauty the awakening in Iran, and the 19-year-old Iranian shepherd who laid down his life for Jesus. His story is a window into the unsung heroes who are laying down their lives to bring the gospel to Iran.

Perry LaHaie is a radio host, singer, and songwriter with a passion to see the Great Commission completed in our generation. He was born and raised in northern Michigan, earned a degree in communications, and later a graduate degree in cross-cultural communications. Music and ministry have taken him all over the world. He served at Family Life Radio before serving with Frontiers, a worldwide ministry to Muslims. Perry and his wife, Teresa, have two children, Kali and Taylor.

Shawna Beyer has been a business owner, homeschool mom, church planter, project lead for a management consulting company, and church staff member. Born and raised in Southern California, she has been married for 25 years and is the mom of four. Shawna loves to help others discover a personal relationship with God that shapes how they think, feel, and live for Jesus daily. She loves being surrounded by her family and a good cup of coffee.
