God’s Blessing Is in the Deep Water
Jordan Humbarger, Young Adults Pastor at Engedi Church joins us to talk about what we can learn from Simon Peter’s encounter with Jesus in Luke 5:1-8. When Peter thought he was done fishing Jesus told him to put his boat out in deeper water.
Is there an area of your life where you want to be done and God is calling you to deeper water? Could you say, like Peter, “Because you say so, I will let down my nets in the deep?” Are you even willing to let Jesus in your boat? Jordan shares stories from his life and insights from this passage.
Then, the Sunday morning greeter actually said to Perry, “Why so glum?” And Perry thought, “thank you very much Mr. Greeter!”
And Shawna invites us to live in the gospel truth that we don’t have to prove anything to anyone today.
