Did I Marry A Jerk?
Brad & Marilyn Rhoads founded the ministry of Grace Marriage in 2015 to help churches and couples prioritize marriage.
Before pursuing marriage ministry full-time, Brad practiced law for 22 years and witnessed first-hand the breakdown of the family. He serves as marriage pastor at their local church. And he and his wife Marilyn, along with Brittany Cragg, co-authored the book The Grace Marriage; How the Gospel and Intentionality Transform Your Relationship.
Brad and Marilyn’s first fight of their marriage was at their wedding reception. From there, as Brad dove into practicing law he was primarily living for himself.
One day his Uncle Tom called and basically forced him to go to a marriage conference. He told Brad that even though he was a huge success he was failing. Brad had a revelation at that conference that changed his marriage and his life.

He was born and raised in northern Michigan, earned a degree in communications, and later a graduate degree in cross-cultural communications. Music and ministry have taken him all over the world. He served at Family Life Radio before serving with Frontiers, a worldwide ministry to Muslims. Perry and his wife, Teresa, have two children, Kali and Taylor.
Shawna Beyer
Shawna Beyer has been a business owner, homeschool mom, church planter, project lead for a management consulting company, and church staff member. Born and raised in Southern California, she has been married for 25 years and is the mom of four. Shawna loves to help others discover a personal relationship with God that shapes how they think, feel, and live for Jesus daily. She loves being surrounded by her family and a good cup of coffee.
