Nothing God Allows Us To Go Through Is Pointless
When we are going through difficult times we may find ourselves asking: “Where is God in this?”, “Why isn’t He doing anything?”, “ What’s the point?” And “How could anything good possibly come of this?”
In Genesis 37-50 there is a story of a man named Joseph with God-given dreams for his future. He went from being his Father’s favorite son to being sold into slavery to being falsely accused and imprisoned before being promoted to Prime Minister. I’m guessing he may have had some of those same questions.
In Joseph’s story we see that God was with Joseph, God was working in the waiting, and God was preparing Joseph for his next assignment.
God is with you in your time of suffering too. He is working in your waiting. And He is preparing you for your next assignment.
You can trust God for His presence, His timing, and His purpose in your life.
