Maybe I Didn’t Pray the Right Words

When our prayers don’t get answered we may wonder if something is wrong with me, God, or maybe I just didn’t pray the right words.

Steve Norman is a pastor, award-winning author, speaker and life coach who works with Winning at Home.  He joins us today to talk about prayer.

Sometimes our prayers are answered in an instant. Sometimes we need to keep praying even when there is no evidence that God is working. Sometimes God chooses not to answer our prayers the way we’d hoped. But all the time, God is listening, compassionate, and working on our behalf.

Also, in this episode, Perry admits, “My heart has been drifting into self-worship.” And Shawna gets honest about where she struggles to embrace change and that changes can be both good and hard.
