Midlife, No Crisis

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme called Every Age and Stage, and we discussed life in the 40s and 50s. While this is the time when the infamous midlife crisis can occur, it doesn't have to! We heard inspirational stories from listeners about times when God moved them to take a step back from the American Dream and into a "midlife sweet spot." We also talked with Tom McGehee, Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Halftime Institute, a ministry that equips leaders across the globe to discover and live out lives of purpose and impact. You can hear all the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.

Retribution

Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our weekly theme called Core Training, and we discussed handling retribution biblically.  We all have experienced adversaries, and we all have fought the urge to have revenge.  Let God handle it!  "Vengeance is mine", says the Lord.  Scripture references included Titus 2:11-12 and Psalm 112.  We also talked with David Harms about the ministry of India Partners.  He has devoted over four decades advocating for the rights of woman and children and rescuing them from lives of exploitation.  David shared stories from his recent trips.  You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast.
