1: Todd Nettleton - Voice of the Martyrs
Having just returned from the Middle East, Todd Nettleton shared about meeting with Iraqi Christian refugees who’ve been in limbo more than five years since ISIS forced them from their homes. Todd also told us about a Muslim convert whose own family tried to kill him when he chose to leave Islam to follow Christ. Yet he says he won’t EVER deny Christ. Pray for these brothers in Christ that they would be able to stand firm while they wait for answers and direction, and to shine brightly in the face of persecution.
2: A Seat at the Stable - Babbie Mason
Singer, song-writer, speaker, and beloved television host of Babble's House, Babbie Mason chatted with Tom and Tabi this morning. Babbie took a few moments to share her favorite characters from the Christmas story. Then, she shared some of the back-story of her new Christmas song, and introduced the Tennessee Valley to, 'A Seat at the Stable.' The song is available at babbie.com
3: Bethlehem on Glass - Tina Stewart
This weekend, you are encouraged to experience, 'Bethlehem on Glass,' a live nativity on Glass Street in East Chattanooga. Tina Stewart is the director of this event and shared about the power of story, and the opportunity to take a walking tour of the nativity - which is presented without words. Enjoy the 'pictures' of this sacred event surrounding the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Details are available on the community calendar.
