1: Jim Downing - The Other Side of Infamy

Jim Downing served in the US Navy for twenty-four years. He survived the sinking of the USS West Virginia during Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Jim was more than a military man—he was also a man of deep faith who spent 24 years associated with the ministry known as The Navigators. We spoke with his son-in-law, Mark Riley to learn about his life and his legacy as a veteran and a believer.
