1: Memorial Day Thoughts - Col. Doug Bennett

Col. Doug Bennett is the Deputy Dean of the United States Army War College in Carlisle, PA. He began his military career in the reserves, enlisting just after graduating from Virginia Tech. After his return from Desert Storm as an Air Traffic Controller, entered Officer Candidate School and began flying Helicopters. We spoke with Col. Bennett about his experiences as well as his thoughts about the significance of Memorial Day.

2: Dealing With Secondary Trauma

In the wake of two mass shootings in the span of as many weeks, it is a natural response to feel anguish over those who lost loved ones. Along with the trauma of going through such an event, there are others who witnessed the event or repeated stories about the event through news outlets who may experience secondary trauma. Angie Wynn is a Christian Counselor who shares the signs to be aware of and provides some steps toward healing.

Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw is the son of his former co-pilot, Goose. Because of Maverick’s part in Goose’s accidental death—things are pretty tense between them. This film is dedicated to Maverick not only earning Rooster’s respect but turning the whole self-focused group of pilots into a team that would sacrifice anything for the man (or woman) next to them.
