1: Prayer Works - A Day To Pray, Hour Two
Two different types of prayer are focused on this hour. Tony Souder with the Pray For Me Campaign shared about the power of intergenerational prayer that just might stem the tide of young people leaving the church. Then, Daniel Henderson walks us through the process of How to Pray in a Crisis. He places emphasis on the importance of the four C's: Conviction, Community, Competency, and becoming spiritually Contagious.
2: International Literacy Center - Sharon Hattaway
There are many people from different cultures moving to the Tennessee Valley who do not speak the language. Sharon Hattaway experienced the difficulty and isolation of living in a foreign country without understanding the language. She draws from her experience in reaching out to teach english.
