Hour 1: What Jesus Intended: A Conversation with Todd D. Hunter
What did Jesus intend for the church? Is the church simply another meeting? Why is there so much messiness throughout Church history? Anglican bishop and author Todd Hunter says he is no stranger to betrayal and pain in the church, but he still has hope. Todd offers the hope that is found in unpacking the purposes of Jesus to expose toxic religion and embrace the true aims of the gospel. It’s a conversation that is really a call to be the Church Jesus intended and follow Jesus’ example of sacrificial service for the good of others.
Hour 2: Searching for God in Christianity: A Conversation with Sean Nolan
What is the true heart and message of Jesus Christ? Is true "Christianity" understood by the culture or is a new reformation needed? Is the Church known as an institution that protects and doesn’t harm? Ken and Deb will address some of these challenging questions with Sean Nolan who longs to answer in everyday vernacular some of the answers to today’s pressing questions of faith and how to live out the gospel in our culture today.
