George Yancey
Dr. George Yancey is a professor at the Institute for Studies of Religion at Baylor University, specializing in race/ethnicity and religion. He works to promote collaborative communication as a solution to racial unrest. His books include Beyond Racial Gridlock and Transcending Racial Barriers. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from West Texas State and received his doctorate in sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995.
