Travis and Andrea Williamson

Travis (2002) and Andrea (2003) Williamson are Moody grads who have been serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 2007. A decade of these years was spent in Ethiopia, working in partnership with God's church among the Gumuz people, specifically helping the Gumuz New Testament translation team as a linguistic and translation advisor. Travis and Andrea recently transitioned from Ethiopia back to the Chicago campus of Moody Bible Institute where Travis has the privilege of teaching future Bible translation workers in the Applied Linguistics program. Both Travis and Andrea are grateful to have continued roles with Wycliffe to support the ongoing translation efforts: Travis as translation consultant, and Andrea in a role with Wycliffe member care. Along with their three children, the Williamsons are still enjoying a transition to the land of more ice cream and more time with grandparents, but they still often think fondly of the relationships and ministry back in Ethiopia.
